Trigger out Node2 (N110)
AnsweredAm I correct in assuming that the Node2 sends a 12V pulse on the trigger out, instead of a continuous 12V current?
I had my amplifier shut down when on automatic power down after 20' (Cambridge cxa 61, sorry for NAD but a bit too pricey for my budget). This occured when the volume of the Node2 was rather low. Turning up the volume avoided this shutdown to standby of the ampli which made me think the trigger is not continuous. The cxa sends a continuous current to keep downstream equipment alive.

12V is constant. Turn off the Auto Power Down function on your amplifier. APD is sensing the input signal, not the trigger.

I use the APD to switch the amplifier and subwoofer automatically to standby when done listening to the music and this is working very well.
I just need to take care to have a sufficient level of signal to the amplifier to avoid unwanted shutdown. (not using fixed output)
I thought the trigger would keep the amplifier awake but it must be the level of output, hence my question earlier.
Thank you for clarifying.
