Players disappear from BluOS app on iPhone/iPad after electricity shortage.
AnsweredHi
If I have to cut the electricity in our house for a short while (20 seconds) my 3 players disappear from the BluOS app on my iPhone and iPad. I can see the players on my wifi but have to do a factory reset to get them back in the app.
Is this really how it should work? Seems odd that the app can't find the players without me doing a factory reset. They all have static ip adresses on my wifi. Connecting with cable is not an option. Thanks.

The players if showing a blue LED and you can see them connected to your Wi-Fi does means they are fully working and a factory reset is not required.
What you need to do is also add the iPhone & iPad’s IP address to the reserved list in the DHCP table. The other thing to try is to leave the power off longer on the Router, you would think a a few seconds would work but alas this is not always the case and Bluesound do suggest five minutes before Turing it back on and then waiting another five minutes before Turing the players back on.

Hi Seppi
I was wrong in stating that the player show blue LED. They do for a minut or so but then they start to flash red and then going back to blue. Players were also gone from my wifi although I had given them a static IP-adress befor the update. Can see in this forum that other owners are seeing the same problem - an update loop.
As I said, a factory reset is the only way to get all players into the apps again and up and running.0 -
Hi Chris, if not already done so then do log a support ticket so the Bluesound support crew can look into your issue.

I'll do so if this problem comes again.
