This is sooooo frustrating
AnsweredI had my Bluesound Node 2 connected to wifi, for years now.
Now I wanted to connected it through the ethernet cable. When I connect cable, it stops, then LED is blue, and it works (on commands on the player itself) but the blueOS cannot see it. It keeps searching for the players, I cannot do anything. Tried a lot of things. After I disconnect ethernet, it finds (pre)set WiFi and then i can control it through bluOS on my phone. Is it possible that this cannot be automatically, and not even hardly, solved.

I'm just another Bluesound customer like yourself but from the description it sounds like a classic network issue. It's possible that there are 2 networks, one on WiFi and the other ethernet. Depending on the router setup this is common. For BluOS to 'see' the Node it has to be on the same network and subnet. Check the router settings and the IP address for the ethernet you may need to review the settings with your ISP.
My Deco router supplies device addresses beginning 192.168.168.x where x is the unique number for the connected device.
