New NAD M10 trouble adding network shares
AnsweredI am at a loss as to why I cannot get my M10 thru BluOS app either on iMac, iPad, or iPhone to accept the info of my NAS (Synology) or my iTunes/music. I have tried using \\diskstation as a path, as well as my NAS address \\192.168.1.XX the instructions do not specify ion you are to use the computers username and password for the NAS connection, or the actual NAS username and password, although I have tried both. I have tried SO many combinations, none yield any results . I think I would benifit from a phone call from BlOS support, and or a screen share. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks; Tim

Hi Tim,
This weekend I also struggled with the correct settings to add a share from my synology diskstation to the M10. In the end it worked using a normal account (not the guest account as noted somewhere I found RTFM)
In synology control panel go to File services under file sharing on first tab smb/afp/nfs i have enabled:
- smb service
- afp service
- nfs service
on tab advanced i have the Bonjour service enabled for SMB & AFP + SSDP + WS-discovery enabled.
Tip: on the BluOS app first reduce the volume because it starts at 100%
Then add the shares and wait till indexed.
Good luck!
Regards,
Martijn
