Windows controller - how to clear/remove favorite albums

I have a few albums in my favorite list that no longer exist. I can't remove them from favorites (because I can't open them) and there is no obvious way to clear the whole list. What can I do?

  My workaround was to recreate the missing folder/files, index the library, remove the favorites, and then do a rebuild index.

  Would a hard reset solve the problem? That would be the easiest solution for me..

  If you have one player that will work. If more than one, unplug all, reset one by one.
