Powernode Issue
AnsweredHello, I've got a powernode 2 that I'm having an issue with. Whenever I connect my sub to the sub out, I'm getting a terrible rumbly feedback noise coming from the sub. If I disconnect the sub from the powernode it goes away. I've reached out to SVS and they told me they suspected the powernode as the culprit. They advised I get a feedback isolator plug. I did, but it did nothing for the issue. I have tried contacting blusound but I can't seem to be near my phone when they call me back. Any advice?

Hi Dan
We have heard of some unique issues with SVS Subs in the past and have encouraged consumers to disable DSP processing on the sub. Your issue sounds a little different though. I am escalating you to our Support Crew. They will be in touch asking for some more details...

I have the same issue with a wired sub after the 4.2.0 update. It’s an issue with the powernode not your sub. They need to do an update to correct this

Rob, thats interesting because this problem just came up recently. It worked fine for the first two weeks I had the sub and then started. I remember installing an update! Is it possible to load a previous version?

I’ve had my Powernode since April this year and it’s been fine until this update. I tested and it’s not my Sub, so the noise is coming from the Powernode. I have no idea how to roll back the software but I’m hoping they can issue a quick fix for the problem

Thanks for the info Rob. Surely they'll let us revert to the old firmware. I'd be shocked if they didn't.

Your issue is not firmware related - no changes were made to DSP. As stated, our Support Crew will be in touch.
