    Hi Sean

Pure guess here... you are using an Apple Remote and you have an open MacBook or iMac in the room. The Apple Remote is triggering your iTunes Library on that iMac or MacBook...

If I'm right, in your macOS System Preferences, disable your Apple Remote as an interface input.

If I'm wrong, we will want to see the log file from your POWERNODE to see where the command is coming form. Please select Settings, Send Support Request in the BluOS App and once they review the log file, a member of our Support Crew will reach out via e-mail...

    Hello Tony,
Thank you for your answer but unfortunately, that’s not a solution to the problem. But what I figured out meanwhile:
It only happens as soon as I connect Apple TV to the powernode. And when I open the powernode app on my phone, I can also see how it switch and starts playing music in the power mode app. The music it plays is music that I have on my iPhone/in my iTune. It’s sort of like if the Apple remote is connected to the powernode app and makes it start playing. It’s extremely annoying because every time you want to start playing a movie, the app opens and starts playing a song. I tried everything and I couldn’t figure out how to turn it off….
I already contacted the support through the app, unfortunately, nobody got back to me :((

    Hello there all...

I had a similar siuation with my AppleTV constantly playing Apple's Music app when I would be watching other apps. In the end I had to do a Factory Reset of my AppleTV 4K Gen 3 and that fixed that specific AppleTV issue... but now I have moved my work setup to my MacBook Pro from my MacPro... I am selecting my Office Powernode 2i + Powernode Group Audio setup as my main audio source out on my MacBook Pro, and that bloody awful Apple Music app keeps auto launching and playing automatically when I do things like play a YouTube video or even try and hold a Teams Meeting. It's super, super annoying, as I can't delete the Music app off my macOS (Venture 13.6.6)... very frustrating and annoying. Before I had my Office Powernode 2i + Powernode Group Audio setup playing out via an optical connection to my MacPro and I never ever had this type of issue, but the MacBook Pro has no such connection option, so I am playing via Airplay.

Any suggestions, comments that could help resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,
    Anthony

    Hello Anthony,

Bluesound got back to me at one point, telling me they could reconstruct the issue and understand now why this is happening BUT also told me that they don´t know when they will fix this bug and basically just apolgized for it.
Here is the message I got months ago

    Hi Anthony

Your issue sounds a little different...

First off, why use an optical cable to listen to TIDAL, you are not getting the best sound quality that way. I have escalated your issue to our Support Crew to take a closer look. They will likely ask you to Send a Support Request using the App to see a log file... they will be in touch via e-mail.

Hi Tony W and thank you for taking the time out to drop me a reply.

I was told before that having the Optical connection to my MacPro would give me the best audio resolution, and I also used TIDAL Connect from time to time also. Actually one of your own engineers was very generous enough to perform a remote session with me at the time and got me all setup. My only issue now is that my MacPro workstation is out of action and I have had to jump onto my MacPro (2017) with Touchbar, running macOS Ventura and this issue of audio auto playing, especially when I select my PowerNode2i + PowerNode Group as they main output source is driving me mental... as I could be on a Teams Meeting and suddenly music from one of my music apps starts playing... :(

I can supply any info they need if it helps get to the bottom of the issue.

    Anthony
