Wiring multiple bluesound powernodes with Innuos or Roon Nucleus player
AnsweredI am building a new house and need help understanding how to wire multiple Bluesound powernodes (for several different rooms) with an Innuos or Roon Core player. Since I have the luxury of easily putting Ethernet cable wherever I want before the house is dry-walled, I do NOT want to go wireless. I have 2 questions: 1) do I run the ethernet cables directly from the Innuous or Roon Core player to each Bluesound powernode, or do I run the Ethernet cables from my router to each Bluesound powernode (with the Innuous/Roon player also wired to the router)? 2) Regardless of the answer to #1 above, do I: A) run a separate Ethernet cable from the “source” (either the Innuous/Roon player or the router) to each of the separate Bluesound powernodes, OR B) wire the multiple Bluesound powernodes in a chain (series) to the Innuous/Roon player or router? Thank you!

Hi Timothy,
All Bluesound players including the Roon Core must be connected to your router or switch. Your network router will be the one directing traffic.
Using the BluOS, you can control all your Bluesound players in your network.
Hope this helps.
