The good thing(s) about OS4
I can see that everyone has been really hard on the new version 4, including me.
So it's about time we celebrated all the unnecessary 'fixes,' window-dressing and lack of/removal of, features found in even the cheapest/free os' out there.
Come with your favourites.

I'm particularly enjoying the MacOS feature, of being able to start a new playlist with the first song, then not being able to add further songs to that playlist.

Do not upgrade, it has become even worse than v3 and that still has its fair share of issues. I was almost at a point to just pull my nad streamer from the hifi set and throw it in the backyard. I remained calm. Barely. I now only play my cd’s. The whole BluOS is banned in my household. I’m going to replace my nad streamer and powernode 3 as well. To give you an idea what v4 really is about. It is simply bugware with a completely unusable UI that defeats its own purpose of being ‘fast’. It isn’t. It doesn’t even work properly. Keep v3. For your own sanity.

I agree with Steven,Yes the play Q is much better now. No more Auto storing everything.

I genuinely cannot think of a single thing in BluOS 4 that's an improvement over BluOS 3. It's very much a step backwards. Maybe people who stream music from Spotify/Tidal/Qobuz etc have fewer issues, but as a 100% local library person I've been using my old Squeezebox gear exclusively in recent months and only look at my NODE after an update to see if any of the bugs have been fixed yet. The sooner I sell this thing, the better.
