Search function id3 tag entries on Vault2
AnsweredThe search function in Controller 4.x does not find entries in the id3 tags of songs. When I search in for "Mozart" I only get hits if "Mozart" is included in the folder name or song name but not if "Mozart" is included in the id3 tags. In controller version 3.x these songs were found, in 4.x I have no hits!

Hi Rudi
We have made some changes to the Windows App. Please download the newer BluOS App 4.2.0 for Windows and macOS from www.bluesound.com/downloads and see if it is better. If not, please select Help, Send Support Request so we can reach out and better understand the results you are seeing vs what you hope to receive.

Hello Tony
Thank you for your feedback signal. I have already installed BlueOS 4.2.0 and I like the improvements.
The following about the id3 tags for a better understanding.
I wrote various codes in a database field, e.g. "Performer", to better find and control my songs. In BlueOS 3.x and Foobar these codes were evaluated perfectly. In BlueOS 4.x only selected database entries are evaluated! Why this regression?
Regarding favorites - Unfortunately, controlling favorites is very confusing. Why isn't the star filled in to indicate that the song or album is in my favorites? This would greatly improve the clarity of the favorites or should improve the field
" * Remove Favourite" does not change the shape. " * Favourite" the star fillid or not filled!
Thanks for the time
Rudi
