Finally lossless airplay from ipad/iphone?

There is a new icon when streaming apple music to my powernode using airplay (from iphone/ipad) It shows next to the icon the text: apple lossless 16/44.1 Is this true? Did they finally make lossless airplay from iOS possible?

    No - AirPlay is not lossless. What you are seeing is a residual form what was played previously. This will be resolved in the next BluOS App for iOS due on Tuesday, November 28th.

    Thank you for your reply but now I’m really confused. I asked the same question in a support request and got the opposite answer at the same time as your reply. See screenshot below:

    Depends - Did you tell Vish you were using a MacBook - if that is the case yes provided you do these steps;https://support.apple.com/en-ca/guide/mac-help/mchlp2256/mac

    Otherwise using an iPhone or iPad it's AAC... as you suggested in your original post...
