I see exactly the same problem on my Pulse Mini 2i, Soundbar Pulse+ and my NAD C3050 LE. Had to do a factory reset on all 3 players to get them back into the app. This is the second time this has happened after a player update. All seems to run smoothly regarding the update but when it comes to rebooting after updating - nothing and the players are gone from app on iPad, iPhone and iMac.

After some back and forth with support I also did a factory reset after which it all worked again. I also asked how to approach the next update because this happened 2 times in a row already.

Eric from support mentioned to make sure the speakers were not grouped when performing an update. My speakers are basically always grouped, so before the next update I first ungrouped them and then all went well.

I had never heard about this ungrouping requirement before, but I’ll make sure to do that from now on. Might be good for bluesound to emphasize this requirement (or ungroup as part of the update process if possible). N=1 I know, but hope that helps.

Sorry to say but don't get your hopes up too high regarding ungrouping being the solution. All my players are never grouped and I had the problem the last two updates.

Ah that’s too bad. I was hoping that would prevent future problems, since it was really annoying. Let’s hope they fix it then soon.
