Soundbar with Apple TV

I have a few pulse soundbars hooked up optically to Apple TV 4K. They seem to constantly cut out. On two of them if I pause the tv then hit play again it starts up. The other I have to go into the app and hit pause on the soundbar and play again (the button next to the volume). When I had these hooked up without apple tv they worked fine. So clearly some issue between the apple tv and blue sound pulse soundbars. It’s awful and completely unreliable.

  Hi Adam

  We have been able to replicate this issue and are looking to resolve quickly. Original Bluesound SOUNDBARs (no additional designation) sold between 2015 and 2018, if connected wirelessly are going into stand-by after 15 minutes when using optical input. We are trying to arrange for a software update to resolve this unfortunate incident very quickly.
