Constant Flashing Ethernet Port

I have my Node 2i wired directly to a router via the Ethernet port. It all works absolutely fine but whatever way I plug in the Ethernet port, it flickers the light constantly - even when not in use. Any ideas?

  Hate to inform you about this but that's just what the thing does haha. It annoyed me as well so I just put a tiny piece of black tape over it. Completely absorbs the light.

  I remember searching the web about this myself back then. I found a post right here in the Bluesound forum. Some employee answered that they cannot control the little LED haha.

  Yes that is what it does. You can try covering it over with black tape or similar. When not in use you can unplug the cable, if it really bothers you or switch it off.
