Help with firmware downgrade

i know downgrading is not supported, but is there a trick to go back to >4.0? I have 420 now and that’s a beta product. Need to reset and setup the device everyday…

  Unplug power cord, connect powercord, starting in hotspot mode….

  Yes I think you can save the old version, then try the upgrade, if no good then reinstall the old one. On another forum, some people have done that. Not sure how exactly.
