Scott, nothing to be fixed unfortunately. Apple took away this functionality a few iOS builds back.

Thanks for the clarification. I originally figured it might be an Apple iOS thing when the functionality went away. However, since I started using Tidal and can control the Bluesound volume with the side buttons when using the Tidal app, it didn't make sense that I couldn't do the same in the Bluesound app. It seems like it ought to be possible if it can be done for the same devices over wifi with another app.

    Hi Scott

Here's Apple's rule of thumb... are you controlling the volume of the Phone or Tablet...?

When using the BluOS App, you are not as the BluOS App is a remote control to have a third-party device listen to music.

When using a streaming service App such as Spotify or TIDAL or when casting audio from your phone or tablet via AirPlay or Bluetooth, the iPhone or iPad is playing music redirected to an end-point speaker.

    Does that explain it...?

Yes, thanks, but it doesn't make a lot of sense when I can use the volume buttons for some apps (Tidal, Spotify, ...) but not with BlueOS when playing the same content from the same source over the same network to the same end device. The BlueOS app is performing the same function as a streaming app when playing music, so why apply rules for a remote control? I'd guess that >95% of the time anyone is using the BlueOS app, it's to stream music, so why would it not be categorized as a streaming app? The user experience for the majority of your customer base would be significantly improved if different rules could be applied.

I really like the BlueOS app, but this is a significant detractor.
