Adding to playlist in Mac 4.0.2

On MacOS with 4.0.2 release, I can add a song to a new playlist but then can not add any other songs to that playlist. If I go to my mobile app (android), I see the list and can add songs to it which I then see back on the Mac. 

Are there known issues with playlists in 4.0.2??
