4.0 is even worse (were that even possible) than 3
Yesterday, (on Mac) BluOS 'lost' my library, as it does regularly. No real surprise there. Total shutdown and restart of everything, including the iMac, and BluOS grudgingly found the library - and spent 2.5 hours rescanning it. That was actually an improvement on the previous record of four hours for 32,000 Flac files.
Today, the day after the above, THE DAY AFTER, I update the library because I've copied a CD or two...and 'poof!' library gone. That IS actually a record, for the library to have been lost two days in a row.
So now, we're what...oh would you look at that! 4 (four) hours in to a rescan and we're up to an impressive 15000 files. We're obviously going for an Olympic AND World record here.
Support team: Would YOU use, or indeed got anywhere near, a piece of software that you have to wait OVER FOUR HOURS to use each time you start it up? I didn't think so.
Stop with the fancy window-dressing and get the damn thing to work properly before overloading it with useless features. AND make the design/layout consistent over all the apps - the iOS version is different to the iPad version is different to the Mac version. "Where's that 'settings' icon gone now..."
Thank the lord for Roon and Apple Music.

Hi Stephen
Thanks for your feedback. I am escalating you to our Support Crew to investigate further. They will be in touch via e-mail to see what is happening here.

Weird. I'm a Roon user for my T+A & BlueSound, but the kids remain on just BlueSound for their Pulses and the SoundBar. Never had any issue to keep my NAS connected to all the BlueSounds in the house. Indexing takes some 5 à 10 minutes for close 31.000 tracks.
I'm of course not a Mac user. Would YOU use etc.
