Somehow fixed it by enabling the eq on the node and then disabling the eq. (This sh*t is bad for my heart, couldn't sleep last night because of this)

There is no repository for BluOS firmware or controller software.

The only way is forward. I did not notice any sound differences with the new updates.

    Maybe you should contact support.

After the... issue... with the recent major upgrade, I am waiting a week to see what happens.
I am prepared to assume many problems are simply getting used to whatever changes have been brought in, but since everything is working, why change?
Mind you, I had no problems with the version 3.

I'm still waiting before I do the upgrade, hear there are loads of problems with it.

Given the signal path is rather obviously still through the same components, is there a possibility of sound quality improvement via software upgrade?
I did notice a change with the last one, but as I had adjusted the relative volume/gain levels of Vault/DAC/pre=amp, I presumed it came from that interaction.

It is possible.. in theory, and has been done before but not this time.

No changes have been made to DSP Out in BluOS 4.x. The last update to DSP Out was in late 2020 to adjust timing issues in BluOS Players that use an ESS Sabre DAC.

Still waiting, is it all clear now?

Did they update the codecs at all? I’ve noticed on many pieces of my gear when they  get firmware upgrades it usually sounds better. I always figured it was because they adjusted the digital filters, or something on that order.  I too think my Vault  sounds better.
