Why did you release a product so far from usable?
AnsweredYou ruined a great product.
1. I used to be able to load multiple shorter playlists into one long one. Now if I try to load a second list the first automatically deletes.
2. Every song that was on my local library was removed from the playlists.
3. Playlists are no longer on the left side menu, I found them buried on the home screen.
4. I can't change the order of those giant icons on the home screen. For some reason they default to a: tunein (why?) b: Amazon music c: bluetooth ( never has been used so again, why?) d: Library (most used, but not on main page so I need to scroll to it). WHY CAN'T I DRAG AND DROP AN ICON, THIS IS NOT NEW TECHNOLOGY.
5. The search is horrid. For some reason it defaults to tunein (third time, why?). Despite what I read on your own website it DOES NOT DEFAULT TO MY LAST USED STREAMING SERVICE (https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360000469128). I have to manually set it to a service that I actually use. Every time! The computer has a mouse, the mouse has a right button, using this button I should be able to remove searches that I would never use (tunein), and set another to default.
6. Your Amazon music user interface is still rubbish. There was something invented in 1973 called a graphical user interface (GUI). You people should look into them, they're amazing. You may even learn how to drag and drop icons. (see point 4)
7. For some reason the application will not load maximized. Other applications that are closed when maximized will restart in the same state they were closed in. With the giant icons that you people put in the home screen, this is a necessary feature.
Bug patches are not good enough for this one. This should not have even been called a beta release.`Be ashamed, be very ashamed.

I agree that in general this release is a mess for multiple reasons but in summary
- Riddled with bugs, really inexcusable. Should have said beta at a minimum. Some things were so egregious, right at the start, it really leaves a poor impression, regardless if fixed 'soon'
- Multiple bad UI changes (like the new search model), moving presets
- Sizing is still horrendous: Windows layout, too large fonts (ridiculous really), multiple graphical tiles sizes
- Poor consistency in whether icons are used in a line, in a list, and some with and some without scroll actions
- And all this.....with virtually no new real features! I think maybe it shows the streaming quality sometimes now but except for that I cannot think of a SINGLE ADDITIONAL BENEFIT to this new version.

It's the 'soon' part that worries me the most. One would expect updates at a faster rate even if it's only for those nagging UI bugs...

I can't even get BluOs to find the music on the computer and everything for sharing is correct

And the promised "stream of updates" has dried up already... LOL...

As I said in a prvious post, it appears that Windows development is a stepchild at Blusound, This release is pathetically bad. I strongly recommend that Blusound start a beta program for all platform users to that this sort of horrible programming is avoided in the future. And perhap replace the person(s) in charge of design for Windows - they obviously have little idea of what au usable UI looks like.
There are still buttons that do nothing (Play All) on some screens.
The font size and placment is laughable.
It's almost like this needs a complete UI overhaul.
We're not even getting frequent bug fixes.
