Should I Stay or Should I Go?

    I have been very happy with Bluesound. I suppose I was fortunate in that the upgrade did not affect me except for a few issues with the Windows Player. My Android player has worked fine. To be honest, I like version 4 on both Windows and Android. There are one or two minor issues to be corrected but push comes to shove I can use my Android.

    I have two Pulse 2i's and Pulse Mini 2i and a NAD C368. I also have a NAS Library with 14,000 albums. Not a single hiccup on the firmware side. I subscribe to Tidal and Deezer. And even my somewhat tone deaf spouse loves the clarity on Radio Paradise.

    I have three Bose Soundtouch systems and they are now exiled to the bedroom and the exercise room. And my Pulses blow away Sonos, nevermind how awesome the C368 is.

    Also, let's look at this rollout. Bluesound has listened and rolled out a number of updates already, in less than two weeks. Hmm... look at Microsoft. Windows 11 is still a POS.

    Let's see what they do in a year vs. what MS did. Dang.

    I would recommend waiting. Too many issues I do not like.The only feature that apparently is added, is to shuffle playlists properly but I did not use that feature. I regret updating, as they updates both my Nodes at the same time so now I cannot go back.

    I believe the firmware update makes my Vault sound better too. Has anyone else noticed that?

    Definitely wait, I can't access my library at all after upgrading.

    Wait. Lots of issues with 4.0 which will probably take a long time to fix (if ever). It made my system worse and I regret updating very much. No rollback option and no new features that are really worth it (for me)

    Hi @Martin

    Your issue is fully answered here; https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360037137354

    Artwork will require a full rebuild Index from Settings, Diagnostics followed by killing then relaunch the App and select Settings, Reload Artwork.

    @Tony

    That hasn't fixed my issue at all.  Whilst my issue admittedly started as a no artwork problem, after subsequently resetting my Node to factory settings a number of occasions I can no longer access my music library on my NAS at all.  So my Node does not work as networked music player.  This is all detailed in my support ticket that remains open since 26th October and includes screen grabs and a diagnostics file.
