V3 Node stopped recognizing external drives via USB
AnsweredI disconnected my USB hard drive to add new music files, and when I plugged it back in, my Node (V3) doesn’t reload the USB library and doesn’t recognize the device. I checked the drive on my computer and it is fine - not corrupted. I tried several other flash drives that used to work on the Node. No luck. I am using BluOS 4.0.2. I have done this countless times with previous operating system with no difficulties. This the first time I tried to unplug the drive and plug it back in using version 4.0.2 OS. One of the flash drives has a light to show that it is connected, and that lights up when plugged into Node, so it looks like the drives are receiving power from the Node. But the Node used to go through a cycle with flashing lights when a new drive was connected, and now it does not, the blue led just shines steady. I tried to unplug the Node and plug it back in. No luck. Bluetooth still works fine on the Node with both optical and coax out to external DAC. Please help.

There have been changes to how USB works, I would before trying again power off your Bluesound hardware for five minutes and have a look at the following support document.
