Vault 2i bricked yesterday

Vault 2i bricked yesterday, solid red led, solid red led on play button also. power down/up does not fix. Has a high frequency audible faint chirp also. Any known fix?

  Have almost the same problem. During update session locked. Happend during ripping a CD, witch is still in the Vault. HELP !!!
