Improve Update Process
I find the Update procedure for the BluOs app clunky and inconsistent. Why not just have ONE item in the Help Menu that says Check for Updates. When this is chosen, the software should simply inform the user one of the 3 possible cases:
1. No Updates are available
2. One Update is available (either for the Player or for the Controller). The user is then given the option to update or not.
3. Two Updates are available (the Player and the Controller). The user is given the option to choose which of the two (or both or neither) to update.
This would make things a lot cleaner and more consistent. Right now, the response when there is no update for the Player ("No update available") is different from the response when there is no update for the Controller (a Pop Up message window that says "Notice. The Controller is up to date" which has a close box in the corner). Why have two different types of response? It's irritating.

You do know that players check for updates automagically, once a day?

Is this true even when not using the BluOS controller? i.e. using Roon instead?

I did not know that BluOS checks for updates once every day but that is irrelevant to my request.

@Brian, all players check for updates , even if you are just using the players as an endpoint, but you will not notice until you open the BluOS controller/app. Mine checks every 25 hours.
