IR learning network standby.

With the red on/off button on the RC1 remote you can immediately put a device into standby mode and it would be great to add this functionality to IR learning. This way we can use any remote for this. Especially with the cost of energy in Europe every little bit help, even if it's just 15 minutes we don't have to wait for a device to go to standby.

  Thanks for the feedback and yes energy concerns are important considerations. That being said, the repeated use of Vacation Mode as an ON/OFF switch will put undue stress on your power supply and prematurely age it as it was designed to be always on and always ready. DO note the your NODE will go into low power after 15 minutes of idle as you noted.

  Ah, so the on/off button on the RC1 puts the unit in vacation mode. I thought it was just to immediately put it into normal standby.
