"Enable Server Mode" on MacOS

Just inquiring if anyone has "Enable Server Mode" enabled via MacOS Desktop app?  At this point, I have NOT enabled server mode.  I have my external SSD attached to the rear of my Node, and it is now functioning as normal.  I had some many issues initially trying to Enable server move, but could not get it working (at least I didn't see it that way).

If I go to settings, Music Library, and enable server mode, will that be all there is to it?  I don't want to do that unless I can be assured it will work without messing up something else.

Looking for community members who've had success on MacOS Desktop doing this.
