More 4.0 woes. Reset my Node to factory settings (twice) but now can't access my NAS music library at all, any suggestions?
AnsweredSo my Node has the dreaded 4.0 firmware on it now and since I was having some problems, primarily with album artwork not showing from my NAS library I decided to reset the Node to factory settings to see if that helped.
It's actually made things worse as despite correctly re-adding my NAS details, I now get no Library link on the left hand navigation whatsoever. So I've a network music player that can't deliver on it's core function :-(
Any suggestions from the community? I've raised a support ticket but heard nothing back after 3 days.

Thanks for your patience Martin
Once you have completed a full Rebuild Index from Settings, Diagnostics, please select Reload Album Artwork.
Our Support Crew will be in touch but we are experiencing a high volume of calls.

I went as far as removing the drive, putting it on the SATA bus in my Ubuntu server doing a fsck scan and finding no issues. I had to take the drive out to be able to copy off music since I had no backup.
It is almost certainly related to the upgrade. It would be nice to revert to previous stable level of BluOS.

There's no issue with my NAS, the music on it is readily accessible from elsewhere. It's a NAS not a drive directly connected to the Node.
I've got a Network Music Player that can't play networked music....
Pretty much a fail on use case number 1.

I set the "Enable Server Mode" to OFF on my Vault2i. then I created a Network share to my NAS that I copied the internal drive off to. Seems to work very well.
I still think they should allow a revert back to previous level. That's kind of a no brainer until they can hash all these issues out.

Thanks for your note. As you know from my support ticket this is now about much more than missing artwork, my Node unfortunately no longer functions as a networked music player.
This evening I tried again, I reset the Node back to factory settings for the **4th time** since the 4.0 firmware upgrade. I connected an iOS app to the Node which allowed me to go through the set-up process and get the Node connected to my home network once more. The Node then looked for a firmware upgrade but nothing was found, it returned an error message rather then tell me no update was available.
The app then temporally refused to load any Home content, I was presented with an animating screen background and ultimately a "Couldn't Load Content" message. This also happened in an Android mobile app.
After a short while, the home content eventually returned however the behaviour is exactly the same as before. I add my Music Library NAS location successfully, and then the Reindex Music Collection entry counts to 100 tracks, and then stops, the Node LED glows green as if it's in hotspot mode again before returning to blue.
I go to Diagnostics -> Rebuild Index, and wait for this process to finish. And as you can see there's still no Library icon in the left hand navigation panel. Thus I can't play any of my networked music on my Node at all. Screen shots of the journey follow.
Reloading Album Artwork does nothing. There's still no way I can navigate to my Library since the link on the left hand navigation button is missing.
It's pretty much broken, kaput.
I'll put a link to this thread in the support ticket I've raised to allow you to connect the two.
