BluOS new « shuffle »

I have a lot of resentment towards the bluesound world, for reasons that I don't want to list here, right now. I switched to the new firmware with a mixture of cynicism and hope and I have been reading the various comments over the past few days which confirm my feelings.

But… but contrary to what this introduction suggests, I come, with my sword in its sheath, to thank the developers for having improved the shuffle function which now makes it possible to send for reading a coherent list which is read from the beginning !

Perhaps in 10 years, there will even be a function which will allow, as elsewhere on other brands (Synology Ds Audio), to send "random 100" for reading taking 100 titles in various genres. but for now, I will be happy enough with this actual progress...

 

As I always think, you have a huge margin for progress, and from where we are, users, it is very difficult to understand why there is so little progress or listening to our feedback. Each proposal made by those who trusted you by purchasing your products is unfortunately rejected in the Greek coves. So don't be surprised to have created, with the announcement of update 4.0, a huge expectation which can only lead to frustration and disappointment on our part.

But, again, thank you for the improvement concerning the shuffle, and this new update 4.0.1 (OS controller) which already seems to work a little better than the one of October 17.

    Is there a reason why this new shuffle button is not accessible with "composers" section ?

    I miss it a lot there too ;)
