Hi Antonio, do try using a set of quality batteries such as Duracell, there are unfortunately a lot of “clone” or fake copies of batteries available and their life span is very short.

Edit: forgot to say make sure the batteries are not touched as fingerprints can lead to them discharging quickly.

Okay, will give that a try!

I wasn't careful when touching them, and I was using generic (IKEA) batteries as well, so one of those might be the issue.

    Thanks

I'm bumping this after trying what you suggested - I still have the same problem.

I bought a new set of Duracell CR2032 batteries, and carefully inserted them without touching them with my fingers and the remote is dead after 3 days and almost no use.

What are my options now? Thanks.

Same here. Using new Duracell CR2032 batteries and after a couple days the remote is dead and requires new batteries.

I don’t have the issues you guys are having, the genuine Duracell batteries I buy have for the past few years been sealed in a smaller blister pack and almost impossible to extract (knife / scissors required) and covered in Bitrex (bitter substance). Copies of Duracell don’t have this and literally lasted less than a week when I picked up some from a “corner shop” when the car alarm fob went flat.

Suggest you log a support ticket with Bluesound.
