Bugs on MacOS App 3.20.6 BluOS 4.0.2
AnsweredI'm brand new to Bluesound and have been confused by navigation difficulties -- now I realize it's the new release and there are bugs.
Just to report, on the controller app for Mac, latest version, the bottom "now playing" pane is consistently behind several songs (the info display) and pause/play/forward/back controls are unresponsive. Qorbuz integration/navigation through the controller app is bizarre; I searched and found an album, was playing it, yet there was no way to add it to my queue or otherwise control song playback. Bottom right volume controller also unresponsive; I could only adjust volume by clicking on the players interface immediately to the left of volume button.
As of now, by far best experience is using Airplay and controlling song playback from Apple Music app.

Latest macOS controller is 4.0.0

Thanks Bjorn! I'm seeing 4.0.2 in the About display, and "Upgrade Check - Controller" says I'm up to date. Quick download of 4.0.0 and Mac OS advised I was about to replace with older version. So this appears to be the latest version.

Ok, try "fiddling" with zoom settings on you mac and see if that helps.
Adding albums, etc. to the play queue, "more" (3 dots) should give you a submenu.0 -
Hi Andrew, do you still have a live link to the 3.20.6 MacOS installer? Last Sunday before 4.0.0 was released, I tried to update my 3.20.5 controller, lost access to my players as a result, and ultimately had to reset them. I reverted to 3.20.5 and trashed the 3.20.6 installer and Bluesound does not have a software archive.
Actually, have you seen the release notes for 3.20.6? I cannot find it.

I've reverted to 3.20.6 while the bugs are sorted out. Interestingly some features and bugs present in 4.0 are also evident now in 3.x with 4.02 firmware. For example the progress bar jumps and shimmies along, not quite as dramatically as in 4.0 but still obvious.
I suspect that commands the controller sends to Bluesound devices are responded to by firmware so both will need updating going forward.

I'm a bit confused - when I navigate to "About," I see the software specs as listed in the thread subject line. So, I see both, "MacOS App: 3.20.6" and "BluOS: 4.0.2." And as I noted, the "Upgrade Check" options for both Controller and Player say that I'm up to date. But others seem to be saying that 3.20.6 was replaced by 4.0.0... whereas I have both listed... others aren't seeing that? I'm on current MacOS Sonoma 14.0.

There is an update for the Controller to 4.0. Downloadable from the Bluesound website. Not sure why the "Upgrade Check" does not report it.

Ok thanks, I did get the latest version now. Unfortunately, didn't help much... there are now no track controls at all displayed at the bottom or anywhere else. Volume button bottom right has the "mute" X displayed, and now is unresponsive to clicking; but there is playback and volume controls from the Player interface to the left.
Still would like to have track controls (play/pause, forward, back) somewhere in this interface. iPhone app does show track controls, so that's good.

Are you not seeing the track controls at the bottom of the screen as below?

I am now! And the volume button/slider now works. No idea what was going on, but it works now. Hopefully it's stable and will show up moving forward.
Thanks all, seem to have that piece fixed.
