Players out of sync, dropping out, after Bluos 4 update..
AnsweredHello people, I'm really asking someone here for help. First of all I don't know if I'm writing to the right place here (sorry if I'm not). When playing music on Tidal my music is stuttering, speakers stop playing, signal drops out. I have the following setup: soundbar+, sub+ and two rear 2i Flex connected via WiFi, the group created is a home theater. Why do these rear 2i Flex's keep dropping out? This has been happening since updating to Bluos 4, before it was fine. I have good WiFi signal. Can someone please advise what to do about it? Alternatively when will there be an update that will fix this? Thanks a lot for the answer or advise.

As a result of the updating it is likely your router has or is losing some IP addresses.
Usually shutting down devices and router, wait a few minutes, and restart router + devices solves the issue.
Best set reserved Ip addresses for your gear in the router.

Do You have tv connected via HDMI arc?
If so, set HDMI arc Auto Sense to OFF.

Yes, my tv is connected via HDMI arc. Strange thing is that all the faults happens only when listening to music via Tidal, not when I watch tv (and listen my Bluesound home theater group).. But I can try to switch this option off. Thank you..

Thank you I will try. I unfornutelly don´t know how should I reserve IP adress in the router for all my Bluesound speakers (maybe my internet provider will know). These bugs were not present before the 4.0.2 update and there were many updates before. I will try to restart all the speakers and router once again. Thank you once again. I will let you know..

There should be no need for fixed IP addressess.
Question: when the rears drop out, does the SUB+ too? Because that's the case here.
Situation here: either the rears stop playing OR they are out of sync. In both cases, the SUB+ is dead. App shows all speakers connected, including SUB+.
When I disable SUB+ in app, the rears start working again. In some cases the SUB+ has a delay, which forces me to disable/enable the SUB+ again.

I have my players in Home Theater group. That is how I listen to Tidal & other services. I found out that there is a weak signal for one of the rear flex 2i´s in diagnostics in Bluesound app - no matter where I put this speaker.. the rest has an "excellent" signal. I didn´t know what to do.. This happens after the update, before it was running ok.
Now I have tried this one troubled Flex 2i to play let alone and the signal is > excellent > to my surprise. Can someone from Bluesound tell me > when you repair this for Home Theater group??? So all the speakers have excellent signal as it was and no drop outs??

Dear Bluesound,
when do you please repair this fault of last update?
And when I creating Home Theater Group why there is no "finnish settings" option and all the operation looks like interrupted? And works that way too.

If anyone had a similar problem, the following will help. Connect all speakers with LAN ethernet data cables - and everything will be ok.
