Thanks, but that answer is related to multiroom and the Node.

    Hi Andreas

It applies to the BluOS ecosystem and affects all makes and models running BluOS.

Analog inputs on all players will be converted to 24/96, so you will have more or less the same delay.

Hi Tony, So even if you are just playing on you "local" speakers without multiroom sync there will be a 50ms delay?

Hi, i’ve just purchased a powernode for my living room which I was planing to use in conjunction with my DJ-mixer and turntables.

The powernode is connected via an analog cable to the mixer output. I also use monitor speakers which are located next to the turntables and connected to a second output in the mixer.

Unfortunately, I can confirm that there is a time delay between the sound on both speaker systems. What a shame, I did not expect this….

If there is no workaround, which i currently assume, i will have to sell the powernode again and find an alternative solution, which would be very sad as I was really looking forward to the setup after doing a lot of research :-(

    Cheers
    Chris

    Chris,

I am attempting to connect my Pioneer DDJ-800 to my Powernode via RCA Master Out from the mixer to 3.5" Analog In into my Powernode but am not getting any audio/signal output. I had to connect via Bluetooth in order for my audio to work but there I an obvious delay. Are you able to connect directly to your Powernode? I'm wondering how you were able to make yours work.

    Hi Oscar

Bluesound Players have some form of digital signal processing happening and cannot be used as PA Sytems. They do not feature any analog bypass options. They are not intended to be used with mixing boards.

    Hi Oscar,

as Tony already mentioned, there will always be a time delay due to the fact that the analog signal is converted to a digital one. This is why the setup did not work for me, evenknow I really liked the powernode!

I was using the cinch monitor output from a xone mixer. The master XLR output I used with my monitor speakers. However, I am now using my vintage analog integrated amplifier again :-)

    Good luck
    Chris
