Changes in terms of track information in BluOS 4.0 not complete
AnsweredOne of my most demanded feature for many years has been fullfilled with 4.0 only partially.
I have several Pulse speakers and a NAD C 658 DAC/Streamer/Preamp. When Playing Music via the built-in streamer, for every Track played via Tidal, Qobuz, Tunein and NAS the 4.0 app shows the bitrate and sampling frequency permanently, without tapping through 3 dot menus, thank you!
A Pulse speaker usually doesn´t have an other digital source connected. But it is not uncommon, that the NAD C 658, which has 4 digital inputs, is connected to other digital sources.
Unfortunately the new 4.0 app doesn´t show anything about the incoming signal, when an external digital input is selected. Please display bitrate and sampling frequency not only when using the built-in streamer, display this information ALWAYS, no matter of origin of the stream.
What I like is the fact, that you display the unfolded sampling frequency when playing a MQA stream. And it is great, that 4.0 is available for all ever sold devcices!
