Hi Fred, the iPad should work really quickly so something is amiss.

Personally I would reset the network setting on the iPad as a start:
General…Transfer or Reset iPad…Reset…Reset Network Settings

You will need to enter your Wi-Fi credentials again.

However there is a major update due later today so you might want to remove the BluOS app and install the newer version.

    Hi,

I have a lan wired Blusound powernode N330 and BluOS apps on iPad & MacBook. Both are running up to date OS. The IPad app launches OK but is very slow (of the order of minutes) in finding the player, library, etc. , in contrast the MacBook connects very quickly via the OSX app. Once the Mac is connected the IPad app usually connects ok. Any idea what might be causing this anomaly?

Should have added that the library is on a wired Synology NAS drive.

Ok, I think I’ve discovered a possible source of the problem. I did try Seppi’s fix & it worked at first but then reverted to the previous problem. However, when I checked my router’s connected devices list the Powernode appeared twice, once as the wired connection but secondly as a greyed out 5 GHz device, presumably a legacy from when I first set the system up. I’ve now removed the 5G connection from the list & everything appears to be working as it should
