Setup issues w/ Pulse M on iOS

I have a new pulse M which I’m setting up for the first time. I have followed the step by step guide on the app but when I connect to the M’s wifi (setting up this airplay speaker..) I always get an error. I have tried several times and even did a hard reset of the speaker to no avail. It never competes the setup

  I was able to set it up now using LAN then configuring the wifi after. It sounds marvelous!

  I'm having the same issue.  I followed the steps on the ap, but the Pulse M does not show up as an option in the WiFi / hotspots network.  I tried plugging it in directly to my router, by both USB and an ethernet cable, but it's still not showing up on my phone.

  OK, I performed the factory reset.  After that, the device showed up on my phone.  As the ap was connecting, it said an "unexpected error" occurred (this is what happened before).  Now it won't show up anymore when I try it again.  Did another factory reset.  Once it was green, I connected via WiFi, which allowed me to connect the device to the network.  After a minute of the "waiting for Pulese" message, I got the familair "An unexpected error occurred.  Try again."    That gives me very little to go on.   Any advice?
