with both devices, even though they are connected and working, the front light blue LED flashes continuously, if I turn off the power and then turn it back on it stops flashing for a while

  If at zero volume then it’s muted, and the led will blink blue.

  it didn't help me, but I think I noticed that it flashed when the volume is at zero, I'll do some tests to verify
