Lenbrook acquires MQA
Just read the news. I'm personally anti-MQA and not exactly pleased with this development. Perhaps I've purchased my last Bluesound product. We'll see what they do with it.

Surely MQA is just an audio format the user and customer will still have the choice whether to use it or not.

Of course. I've been a Bluesound user since the Node 2 and have been mostly happy with the platform, except for the MQA part. This is a bridge too far for me. No doubt others will be thrilled.

Since I dropped Tidal in favour of Qobuz there is no MQA option for me. Bluesound has supported MQA for years I can't see that owning the technology changes anything for me or anyone else.

Well, instead of just supporting it like so many other companies they now own it and that does change things for me. It doesn't matter to you - great.

As long as they do not change any support for Qobuz (yeah, same with me, Brian) or don't exclude normal losless HiRes-files, they can buy whatever they want.
I personally think MQA has a portion of snake-oil in it but hey, I also use audioquest stuff as their normal things are cheap still ;)
