High resolution radio interruptions
I have a Node 2 and have set up high resolution radio stations ( Superstereo, Naim, Max Radio and others) and can also listen to the supplied Radio Paradise links. Ookla sayes our broadband is a good quality 300Mbps and that is consistent with online gaming and video calls. My DAC will connect by Toslink and Coax. Sound comes out, it sounds good. My problem is playback stumbles and stops after 3-10 minutes. The Bluesound app produces a Player Notification Error. I can resume playback by simply tapping pause and play. Any suggestions?

You don’t say but if you are using Wi-Fi to connect your Node then it’s possible the local (in your house) signal is not that great where the Node is. Using the BluOS App in diagnostics you will be able to see the signal strength.

I am using wifi. The Node is reporting “Good” and -52dBm.

It’s possible the streams you are using are unreliable. Try some of the ones from the TuenIn menu, when playing you can use the context menu (three dots) and then choose which stream.
Radio Paradise MQA streams via the BluOS app are of CD quality 16/44.1 so if these play ok it would point to the streams you are using.
If this does not help then using the BluOS app select Help…Send support request after a dropout and the Bluesound support crew will be able to look further into this.
