hi I have unison search due with internal dac would the bluenode detect it and could I use it as an external dac? Thank you

  HI Roberto

  To use the DAC in your Bluesound NODE, use the analog (RCA) outs. Using COAX, Optical or USB (NODE N130 only) will bypass the on-board DAC on the Bluesound NODE or VAULT and have your external DAC perform the analogue conversion.

  I had read about possible incompatibilities with some dac, how would the node130 reveal the internal dac of unison research via usb? How generic dac or usually those who do internal dac put a 'signature'? Maybe it's a silly question, the node sends the same digital data regardless of the dac.

  Again, if you are using digital outs, you are bypassing the NODE DAC. Try it and let your ears decide.
