Powernode in closed cupboard?
AnsweredI want to put my powernode in a CLOSED cupboard, wired connected with internet and speakers, and use my tablet & mobile to select my music via Tidal. Will this work? Anyone experience with this setup in a CLOSED cupboard (with some holes in the back wall in the cupboard because of the heat of the Powernode)?

I ran a POWERNODE in a closed cupboard until very recently (lightening strike on the house killed a few things) and whilst it was warm to the touch it never got hot at the volume levels I used. I now have a POWERNODE EDGE as it’s replacement and that has hardly any warmth at all.
Using the BluOS app on a tablet / phone works as it uses Wi-Fi for the signals to control. I also use the Bluesound RC1 remote which is IR based so would not normally work through the cupboard door but I have an IR extender to overcome this.
