Bluesound Node 2 output sounds from games on pc
AnsweredI have connected my PC to a Node 2 via Bluetooth, and it should be using the Aptx codec. How can I verify this? My PC supports Bluetooth 5.2, but I am unsure of the codec installed and used.
It sounds ok, but not great and there is a lot of latency and distortion even though the connection should be fairly good as the PC and Node are located within 4 meters with no obstacles. When the PC is connected via Bluetooth to a headset, the sound quality is much better. I am using Windows 11.
However, I think that bass is lacking a bit in games when used in this configuration.
Is there any way I can enhance the sound quality, reduce the latency and improve the bass response and amount when streaming sounds from a game from a PC?
Would it be better to connect the PC via an optical audio cable or other means?

Analogue cable out of the headphone jack of the PC is another option. Wired is always more reliable than wireless regardless of any communication method.
