Using a Powernode 2i as rear channel on home theater setup
AnsweredWhen using a Powernode 2i as a home theater rear channel (Soundbar 2i as front channel) somewhere in this support website has been written:
“When using POWERNODE models as a rear channel setup, connect the LEFT SPEAKER (+/-) terminal to the room’s left side speaker and vice versa”
Those it mean that those speakers should be left/right swapped? In other words, what’s the meaning of left and right? Looking to the front screen or looking to the rear wall? (I plan to use also the rear Powernode for my stereo listening sessions)
By the way, the source of the audio will be a proyector sending Dolby content to the Powernode, should it work or should be the audio source always be connected to the front player (the Soundbar in this case)?
Thanks in advance, keep the nice work.

Hi Jordi,
Thank you for your feedback. There is no need to swap speaker cables. The BluOS software will automatically switch (internally) the left to the right and vice-versa when configured in a Home Theater setup as rear speakers. And when you would like to break the group and only use the POWERNODE, it will go back to its normal settings where left is left and right is right. Please let me know if this answered your question.
