How can you know what signal node x is receiving, if it is 16 bit or 24?

How can you know what signal node x is receiving, if it is 16 bit or 24? For example in tidal, the app shows Max but we know that it is 16 bits
due to the change to hi res flac that they are making.
Is there any way to know for sure? In Ifi it changes color when receiving
an mqa signal, for example, in node x, is there something that indicates
this? thank you so much
