Adding ADDITIONAL iPhone Controller to Working System
My N130, one iPhone iOS BluOS App Controller, and one MacBook macOS BluOS App Controller are all on the same network and operating perfectly for months. Everything is updated to the latest version.
Now I want to ADD the iOS BluOS App Controller to my wife’s iPhone (so, a second iPhone), which is also on the same WiFi as my iPhone, MacBook, and Node and physically sitting next to those devices. But, the controller on this new iPhone does not see the NODE. When trying to Add a Player to her controller, no Node is found after the Looking for Players message. Her iOS Settings already allow BluOS to access the Local Network. Going to WiFi settings on her phone does not show the Node as a network choice.
Bluesound support first told me to verify that her iOS allowed BluOS to access the local network, which was already the case. Now, Bluesound tells me to reset my wifi routers (which have zero problem with the many other devices and system or with the BlueOS controller on my iPhone and my laptop), and to reset network settings on my wife's iPhone (which should be unnecessary since her phone can already use WiFi here and elsewhere without problem and is horribly inconvenient since it causes loss of relationships and passwords for all known networks.
What can I do to get her iOS controller to see the Node, and without interrupting everything else that already works perfectly? Thank you.
