External DAC

I'm tryimg to upgarde my N130 Bluesound Node to a better external DAC.  Will the Cambridge external DAC make a noticeable sound quality improvement?

  DACs can make a difference to the sound however nothing night and day and to some absolutely no difference. Suggest you obtain one on a sale or return basis and compare to the analogue outputs on the NODE.

  I've tried many DAC's and agree with Seppi if you are able to trial several before you buy. Every DAC changes the sound and what pleases you is more important than any review or product rating. The DAC is only one component of many in the audio chain and it may or may not make the difference you seek.

  I'm very pleased with the DAC in my NAD M33.
