AnsweredI have an ASUS router (AC-RT66U) in which a USB stick can be plugged in and I have registered it for SAMBA . ((devicename WILLOW and usb stickname Atom and the files are in the root. I can find the stick and music files via my macbook. However, he cannot find anything to connect it to bluesound. My macbook and Bluesound are on the same network. I enter the Bluesound app \\WILLOW\Atom in. But \\WILLOW/Atom\ also not funtion. Am I doing something wrong?

Hello Hein
Please review your router documentation to ensure when using file-sharing via USB, it supports SMB 2.1 or higher. Many routers in this generation only supported SMB 1.0 which has a number of security issues and has been discontinued by BluOS and most other Windows File Sharing compliant platforms. Perhaps ASUS has issued an update for the router firmware.

Check wich SMB version you have running on the ASUS and if you need to create a user account and password to access the share. \\willow\atom might be the path but it could also be \\ipadress\willow\atom
