Can Vault be linked directly to PC using the ethernet port in order to access the shared folder and copy flac files?

I've been backing up all the audio from Vault storage via Wireless network , but this takes ages and suffers from dropout. Is it possible to link the PC directly to the Vault via Ethernet to save using the wireless network?

  Potentially yes if you are a dab hand with networking but it’s easier to go via a Router to take care of all the technical bits. So Ethernet cable from the Vault to Router and Ethernet cable from Router to the PC.

  Personally I use an external USB drive connected directly to the VAULT as my main form of backup and just let it get on with the backup.
