The best way to have portable multi room audio is to use the Bluesound Pulse Flex (with battery pack). This would allow perfectly in sync music playing with your NAD C700. Bluetooth won’t connect to multiple devices simultaneously let alone playback in sync.

Thanks Seppi. Do I understand correctly that BlueOS devices can achieve my goal but not just any Bluetooth speaker? Therefore, this is by design. Can you direct me to where I can read about this? I have done a fair amount of research on my own and cannot find a clear answer as to how to achieve this.

Bluesound is a multi-room audio system that lets you play audio in perfect sync across many BluOS devices such as your C700 and the previously mentioned Pulse Flex. To achieve this it uses WiFi or an Ethernet connection but not Bluetooth as this has a short range.

Ok I think I get it now. So the BlueOS speaker connects to my network which my c700 is also connected to.

How many speakers can be linked to my c700 and play at once in this manner?

64 BluOS device … but that would mean a lot would have to be wired using Ethernet.
