Digital outputs standby mode.
AnsweredTopping DAC not going into standby because Node digital outputs are still active in Node standby. If you put the Node into vacation mode the Topping DAC goes into standby. This or very similar queries have been raised over several years with a range of answers given by Bluesound from “we’re looking into it” to “a problem doesn’t exist”. Perhaps you could update with either “we can’t close down the outputs on this system” or “we don’t want to change the existing settings”. Then we at least know where things stand. One thing that seems a bit odd is once you play a track there is always a track on the queue and that is the track that the DAC is sensing even if Node on pause and standby. Perhaps if we could clear the track queue the DAC could go into standby.
