Bluesound 130 randomly goes to nearly max volume
AnsweredHi, I got an N130 second hand so happy to except perhaps the old users is still somehow connected. Firmware is up to date.
On occasion it randomly shoots up in volume. I only use it as a roon end point. Its just me in the house today so its not one of my kids being a plank or what ever. Also I might be listening to an album and as well as jumping up in volume, it will skip to a few tracks earlier like half way through it. Its most odd.
I did post on this forum about being unable to reset the node. I have tried over and over again but it will not reset, I held the button down for five minutes on one occasions but it wont reset.
Any help much appreciated

Hi Gary
There is no need to factory reset your NODE. Resetting it deletes playlist and subscriptions but would not affect how volume is used other than variable or fixed in Audio Settings. The default is variable. Please download and use the BluOS App for iOS or Android for a day and remove ROON from the equation for a couple of days.
If the issue does not occur using BluOS, please contact ROON Labs.
If it persists or returns, please select Help, Send Support Request in the BluOS App so our Support Crew can review the event log and identify where the volume increase is coming from.
